Nathan Pink

Manitoba Regional Instructor Adam Norget:

"I've played a wide range of competitive sports but I've found the one most fun, by far, is curling! I've been privileged enough to compete on the World Curling Tour for the last four years and have competed in the last two men's provincial championships. I am a NCCP Certified Level 2 Curling Coach and Instructor, and have enjoyed working as an curling instructor at many school and club clinics, and even with the Special Olympics program. I'm looking forward to an exciting year ahead with the Capital One Rocks & Rings program in Manitoba!"

Jenica Lang

Manitoba Regional Instructor Jenica Lang:

"My love for all sport led me through the Bachelor of Recreation Management program at the University of Manitoba. I have coached youth in a wide variety of sports including basketball, team handball, water polo, volleyball, and badminton. Curling is a truly unique sport and I absolutely love it!"

"Curling is a great sport where you can meet lots of great friends and it is great physical activity. But not everyone always has the opportunity to try the game. With the Rocks & Rings program, curling comes to you! It’s a great way for kids to try the sport without having to transport them to a curling club. It also exposes those kids to the game who would not otherwise learn about curling. This is the best junior curling program to come along in years because it goes outside the box in terms of its target market."

Manitoba Curling Association

The current Curl Manitoba was created on June 1st, 2000 when the former MCA (men) and MLCA (ladies) amalgamated to form one body to oversee the sport of curling in Manitoba. The Manitoba Curling Association (known as the MCA) then was renamed to Curl Manitoba in Septembar, 2009. Curl Manitoba serves the sport and the members of all clubs that have been affiliated with the Association. The affairs of Curl Manitoba are managed by a gender-equal Board of Directors consisting of 12 member board of directors.
