"For the past 3 years I have been volunteer coach with Special Olympics helping out with the curling program, and this is my second year as a competitive curler.
"I am so looking forward to being a part of the Capital One Rocks and Rings program helping others really know what the sport of curling is all about."

"The Rocks & Rings program is a fantastic idea! Curling is one of those sports that isn't really put out there to get noticed. People still ask me to this day 'how did I ever get involved in curling'? I was lucky, I just fell into it after my older sister started playing. This program is going to open a lot of doors and get a lot of kids interested in a great sport that they may otherwise never have found out about."
The Nova Scotia Curling Association is dedicated to the administration, promotion, development and coordination of the sport of curling in Nova Scotia.
