"I took up curling as a sport in 1996 and have been instructing new curlers since I was 16 years old. I have been curling competitively for over 10 years. I love introducing students to a sport that can be both fun and competitive, and one that they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. I completed my teaching degree at the University of Melbourne (Australia) and am a certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers. I combined my love of curling with my love of teaching by joining the Capital One Rocks & Rings Program in 2009."
