The Capital One Rocks & Rings Program is Looking for Instructors Across Canada for the 2009-10 School Year

Toronto, ON (June 10, 2009) - Expansion is underway! We are currently looking for instructors in the following cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, and Halifax.

We are looking for young, energetic instructors to conduct the Capital One Rocks & Rings program in elementary schools in the above-mentioned areas. Curling knowledge is definitely a bonus but what we're primarily looking for is outgoing, enthusiastic individuals that can control, and have fun with, a gym full of kids aged 5 to 11.

Previous teaching, kids coaching, or instructing experience is definitely a plus.

The program runs during school hours so instructors need to be available to visit schools between the hours of approximately 9:00 and 3:00. Instructors have control of their schedules but will be required to visit an average of two schools per week during the school year (not including holiday time).

A vehicle is required as instructors will need to transport program equipment. Instructors should also have, or be willing to get, a police background check as well.
